Artist's Comments

This has been sitting on my computer for over a year now and been in various versions of client porfolios. Wasnt really an online thing but I wanna put it on here to advertise....

I'm producing a book: "do not fear" (working title)
It'd be a modern cross between the Janes aircraft guides and the Terran Trade Authority Handbooks by Stewart Cowley with a little bit of topical substance thrown inbetween.

I'm looking for artists, technical illustrators, editors and writers (if any of the AFF guys are bored, your more than welcome to join in) who would be willing to work on a book for the next 18 months.
You'd need to have a selection of your wrk online, be willing to work under my direction, have firm grounding on current science fact an theory.

I've got a clear plan and publishing access, all i need now is the tallent.

If your interested, please send me a note on DA or email me

I like the materials and the design of the ship? itself. Sounds like you've got things goin' for ya. I'd throw a hand in, but I assume you're looking for a far more professional talent.

very nice, i realy like the shape that you've made ... i just wish i had some way of judging the scale of it, i mean is it about the size of a skate board, a bus , a cruse ship or a small planet?

It's an interceptor, from a period known as the great war, 60,00 years from now.
Length wise, is about 30 meters long, with a single human pilot, it's about average size for vechicals of its class.
The Ares it's built for high speed interdiction and space superiority roles and during the duration the mark IV was operation, performed those roles without equal.

Scale is hard to pass with, especially on untextured isometric models. But hopefully over summer, i'll have a few high detail textured craft.

Thats a big ship for just one person but i guess in space, less people means less food, oxigen and water to hall around space. Although i think that unless its flown in a wing of fighters or as a suport ship for larger vessles it would have a three man crew; if one dies there still some one to A) do the work B) Keep them selves sane; this is why the early space fights like the apollo missions all had a three man crew
